About Me

Michelle Croke

Hi! My name is Michelle Croke (Chelle for short), and I'm from St. John's, Newfoundland in Canada.

I’m a front-end developer who loves building websites that are intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use. I’ve worked on everything from creating reusable UI components and design systems to migrating sites into WordPress, to writing automated tests with C# and Selenium and creating UX mockups. I enjoy problem-solving, refining designs, and making digital experiences better for everyone.

The last big project I worked on was MyGovNL, a website for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, where nearly every interface component was built from scratch. It was a fun project to work on, and I learned a lot about accessibility and best practices.

I'm currently self-employed as a freelance front-end developer, training AI models in software development. However, I'm looking to further my career as a front-end developer, and I'm always open to new opportunities.
